All Nextworks clients are setup with ProofPoint Email Filtering. ProofPoint is a cloud-based email security service that scans incoming and outgoing emails for threats like phishing, malware, spam, BEC (business email compromise), and advanced attacks using AI/ML, sandboxing, and URL inspection. It blocks malicious content before it reaches your Inbox while allowing legitimate email.
Nevertheless, some malicious email does make it past ProofPoint's defenses.
We encourage our clients to always be on the lookout for suspect email.

Identifying these emails can be a challenge. Nextworks is here to help.
Forwarding a suspect email to Nextworks doesn't always work. We also use ProofPoint. While the suspect email passed through ProofPoint's shields initially, by the time you forward it to Nextworks, ProofPoint likely has become smarter, detects the malicious content in your email, and blocks it.
This results in no response from Nextworks. We never received your email. We recommend instead that you take a screenshot of the suspect email, then send us that image to support@nextworks.com.
There is no need to notify us of every dubius email. If an email has a message that you believe is important, and you cannot detect any signs of suspicion, then send us a screenshot so that we can review the email for you. Be sure to capture all the header details of the email.
Otherwise, when in doubt throw it out.
Receiving a malicious email alone is not a security concern. However, acting on the email such as clicking a link or calling a phone number is to be avoided.
Let Nextworks help to ease your IT burden.
